Wrath of the Titans (2012) Synopsis

Living in self-imposed exile with his only son Helius, Perseus, the demigod slayer of the abominable sea-monster Kraken, is trying to lead a simple life, one long decade after his triumphant victory in Clash of the Titans (2010). However, as humans continue to defy the gods, depriving them of their life-giving faith, the duplicitous lord of the Underworld, Hades, and Ares, the hateful god of war, conspire with the eternally imprisoned Titan, Kronos, to overthrow Zeus. Before long, war breaks out, and Perseus, along with the half-human son of Poseidon, Agenor, and sword-wielding Princess Andromeda, must answer the call to arms and defend, once more, the helpless humans who are on the brink of extinction. Now, the everlasting walls of Tartarus, the impregnable dungeon of torment in the unfathomable abyss, are crumbling. Can Perseus avert the emergence of Kronos the destroyer?—Nick Riganas
