Wadjda (2012) Synopsis

All over the world, a brand-new bicycle is every boy and girl's dream--and when the rebellious and entrepreneurial ten-year-old, Wadjda, spots a glossy green one at the local toy store's shopfront--she knows she must find a way to raise the money: enrol in the school's Quran recitation competition.
