The Passage (1979) Synopsis

During the Second World War, a Spanish shepherd accepts a deal: he has to guide, through the icy Pyrenean mountains, an important scientist who escapes from the Nazis. The man must leave France as soon as possible and reach Spain, but it won't be easy. In addition to the difficulty of crossing an icy terrain, his sick wife and young son, unaccustomed to the rigors of such extreme conditions, must be added to the journey.
