The Fire Within (1963) Synopsis

The Parisian Alain Leroy has been detoxified in a clinic in Versailles from his drinking problem. His estranged wife Dorothy lives in New York and Alain has a brief love affair with her friend Lydia, who has to return to New York. The needy and depressed Alain is declared healed by his doctor, but he has no motivation to continue to live.
