Save State (2023) Synopsis

Chris and Veronica have been together since they were in high school... when she leaves him for a job in California, he's heartbroken and can't get over her. When his best friend crafts a time machine, he tries it out to see if it'll work. Going back to the day of their breakup via a nuclear powered FitBit, Chris tries to stop her leaving but winds up having to confront the consequences upon his arrival back to the present. Unable to let her go, he'll go back again... and again... and again... and again some more, trying to make things right (and discovering the flaws in their relationship along the way).—Scott Sawitz
