After stealing the heart of beautiful Eunice, George and Harold, a talented American song-and-dance duo performing vaudeville in Melbourne, flee to Darwin, where they take jobs as deep-sea divers for crafty Prince Ken Arok. As he promises them the stars and the moon to retrieve a sunken treasure from the bottom of Batu, an idyllic paradise off the coast of Bali, the penniless Casanovas end up on the sandy beaches of an unknown tropical haven, vying for the attention of exotic, dark-eyed Princess Lala.
