Moontide (1942) Synopsis

A lonely dock worker who likes to drink a lot, awakens one night not recalling the previous night's events after a drinking binge. The next day he learns that a close friend was found murdered on that forgotten night. Later, he befriends the a local night watchman and together they rescue a suicidal woman.
