Santa Fiora convent, 19th-century Italy. Sister Angela, the Mother Superior, welcomes seemingly innocent orphaned Isabella to protect her from unscrupulous Uncle Don Ascanio. And before long, the shameless exhibitionist novice shows her true colours.
