Sixteen year-old Haley Thompson is traumatized after losing both her parents in a car accident. She spirals into depression, and attempts suicide. After a short stay in the hospital, her tennis pro uncle and his eight year-old son take her in. She must adapt to her new life, and deal with her tragedy of her loss.
