American Exorcist (2018) Synopsis

In the aftermath of a botched exorcism, Georgette DuBois, a paranormal researcher and professional sceptic, is on a mission to find evidence of the supernatural. So, to put an end to the ghost stories stemming from the horrific massacre of 1984, Georgette sets foot in an abandoned high-rise building on Christmas Eve to investigate alleged paranormal activity. But before long, as disbelief gives way to sheer terror, Georgette finds herself trapped between floors, attracting the malevolent essence of the building. Indeed, this skyscraper is a prison.
