A Second Chance (2019) Synopsis

Two friends who grew up together live parallel lives. They share everything with each other. One friend lives in California and the other lives in Atlanta. After years of them having the same type of dating experiences that have had ups and downs neither one of them found the right person for them until now.Cheyann is a successful writer in Los Angeles, California. She has been inseparable with her Los Angeles best friend Darius Cole for over five years. They do everything together but never thought about taking their friendship to the next level in fear of ruining it by adding relationship emotions to the equation. They find that this situation works well until someone else comes into the picture.Daniella is a successful Account Executive in Atlanta, Georgia. She is in and out of relationships but ends up in a long term relationship with a married man. After dealing with the drama of her relationship, she is ready for a new start. She takes a business trip to Los Angeles and visits her longtime best friend, Cheyann. While she is in town and spending time with Cheyann, she also spends a lot of time with Darius and she starts to fall for him.Darius is hesitant to start dating Daniella in the beginning due to his concern for Cheyann's feeling but over a short period of time, he starts to develop deeper feelings towards Daniella. Daniella decides to move to Los Angeles to pursuit new career endeavors and also to spend more time with Darius. When Darius starts to fall for Daniella, Cheyann finally realizes that she is really in love with him.They are caught in a triangle of confusion, deceit and decision.
